The one on the box aligns with the way I’ve used cleansing balms in the past which is identical to how you would use cleansing oils. Massage the balm into your skin until makeup is dissolved, and then rinse with warm water to emulsify. Follow to massage the face for cleansing until it turns milky then rinse off with lukewarm water clearly. It provides soft, nourished skin without residue and emits a captivating smoky-woody scent with notes of Elemi Resin, Patchouli, and Agarwood. I’ve described other products as smelling like decades old potpourri my great grandmother would have out…and this cleansing balm is verging into that territory.It deeply hydrates and replenishes your skin, providing essential nutrients for a healthier and more supple complexion. I had zero problems with it irritating my skin afterwards but noticed my eyes weren’t as comfortable with it. It was the only variable in my routine that day so while its an assumption, I can’t think of any other possibility aside from this being the one to provoke my skin. It seemed more thorough in cleansing, emulsified better, and rinsed so much more cleanly and thoroughly. Fruit hydrophilic balm based on figs instantly removes makeup and impurities, as well as excess sebum that accumulates on the surface of the skin during the day.

The way I see it, cleansing balms are exceptionally good at removing makeup but they seem kind of extra as a daily cleanser but that’s just me.
